Roland announced the TD-1KPX2 V-Drums Portable, the latest portable V-Drums series. The popular TD-1KPX series, launched in 2016, features the great TD-1KPX2 V-Drums sound, a realistic set of mesh pads and an innovative foldable bracket that allows players to transport and store actions without and without crampons.
The TD-1KPX2 also features a wider kick-out disc that supports both dual-back pedal and single-pedal settings. With its unique compact design, the TD-1KPX2 is the ideal place to enjoy drums in small rooms and is ideal for presentations, rehearsals, and musical educational settings.
The durable and stable TD-1KPX2 folding stand can be adjusted in seconds with a standard battery wrench. The user can simply unlock the stand, adjust the pad positions, connect an acoustic drum (not supplied) and start playing. At the same fast pace, the stand is light to a surprisingly small size, or placed in a corner, under a table or in a closet.
The TD-1KPX2 has a PDX-8 V-Pad of 8 inches and three PDX-6 V of 6.5 inches. The nets offer natural rebound, excitement, and gameplay, while Roland’s dual-shot technology provides precise head-to-wheel detection.
Players can now play two kicks, thanks to the wider kicker containing two contiguous pulls while using a dual kick back acoustic adjustment. CY-5 cymbals for cymbals and hi-hat with 10-inch playability and natural swinging motion. Cymbals induce separate bows and arches, while hi-caps are open and closed with soft tonic transitions.
The integrated function in the TD-1KPX2 module offers a variety of fun functions to encourage learning. Users can use the built-in metronome to extend their time and improve speed, endurance, and accuracy with many trainer features.
The module also includes a number of internal songs and a mix jack in which the drum is converted into a smartphone or music player with your favorite songs. With a handy shooting function, players can get immediate feedback on progress.
The module also has a USB-MIDI interface, which allows users to enjoy music with the computer. The TD-1KPX2 is ideal for recording realistic MIDI drums in music production software. With the optional DT-1 V-Drums Tutor software, developers can learn easy and practical exercises with basic drum techniques.
Roland offers many optional accessories to enhance the drum experience. For beginners, the V-Drums accessory DAP-3X will do everything necessary to play the TD-1KPX2, including drumsticks, an acoustic pedal, and a drum throne.
The CB-TDP transport case is a convenient way to transport and protect the TD-1KPX2. Other available accessories include quiet back pedals such as KT-10 and KD-9, TDM-3 V-Drums for floor protection and PM-03 personal drum monitors for a booster.
